MISSISSAUGA, ON – At a Walmart store in Scarborough, more and more cutting-edge technology, better selection and delivery are expanding for downtown Toronto online grocery customers.

The redeveloped space inside the Scarborough West store integrates state-of-the-art technology and helps partners take online food orders six times faster than the usual sales floor. This is the latest example of how Walmart unlocks its stores with better service than ever before to reach more customers. More than 70% of downtown Toronto customers can ship food through this store.

Using automated technology in conjunction with proprietary Walmart systems, this re-imagined space allows Walmart to provide customers with more opportunities, convenience, speed and quality when shopping online.
